About<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A group is forming to promote and showcase Kirriemuir. The intention is to highlight all that Kirriemuir has on offer in an accessible, inclusive, family friendly and hugely fun way, with the hope of encouraging pride and involvement in our amazing community. The main event will be on Saturday May 30, with the possibility of some activities before and after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in the initial stage of planning with plenty of ideas and are open to more ideas. At the moment it seems like it will be a big party, hopefully with a parade, and live music in the square, (planning permission dependent) and definitely with games, activities, competitions around Kirrie and dressing up from whatever era people want, if they want. One thing that is already organised is Sustainable Kirriemuir having an open day in their St Mary\u2019s Field community garden. And there is so much more possible and being planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are inviting every Kirriemuir based group, business or organisation to be involved in whatever way suits or feels manageable. We will offer support in the form of ideas, publicity and sharing the infrastructure to help you showcase your group, business or organisation. We intend to really highlight publicity as much as possible in the run up to the day and after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
